Within hours of taking office, Donald Trump made a major mistake

On January 20, 2025, Donald Trump was sworn in for his second term and quickly signed executive orders, including withdrawing from the Paris Agreement and the World Health Organization. He declared a national energy emergency to increase U.S. oil reserves and exports, and labeled illegal immigration at the U.S.-

Mexico border a national emergency. Trump also mistakenly called Spain a BRICS nation, though BRICS includes Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa, and others. Spanish officials corrected him, and Trump proposed a 100% tariff on U.S.-Spain trade, potentially ending decades of free trade.
