Trump Sounds Off On Reporter: ‘Listen To Me. Stop Interrupting’

During a press conference on Tuesday, President Donald Trump clashed with a reporter who repeatedly interrupted him while questioning his pardons for over 1,500 January 6 defendants, most charged with misdemeanors. When pressed on the matter, Trump pushed back, saying, “Listen to me for a second. Stop interrupting,” and criticized media bias, stating, “The American public is tired of one-sided, horrible people like you.” He defended the pardons, arguing they reflected voters’ frustration with unequal justice.

Trump’s administration is quickly taking shape. Marco Rubio was confirmed as Secretary of State in a unanimous Senate vote. A strong foreign policy advocate, Rubio is tasked with addressing global issues like the Ukraine conflict and China’s rising influence. Florida Governor Ron DeSantis appointed Attorney General Ashley Moody to fill Rubio’s Senate seat.

On his first day, Trump signed over 200 executive actions, declaring a border emergency and prioritizing cartel eradication by designating them as terrorist organizations. An official described the orders as a “historic restoration of American sovereignty.”
