Blues Brothers actress Dalyce Curry dies in LA wildfires

The recent wildfires in Southern California, among the worst in US history, have claimed 25 lives and displaced thousands. Dalyce Curry, 95, tragically perished in her Altadena home during the Eaton Fire. Her granddaughter, Dalyce Kelley, shared on social media that Curry’s remains were found on January 12.

Recalling their last moments on January 8, Kelley said Curry expressed love before she left, believing her grandmother was safe as no evacuation order had been issued. Hours later, the fire spread, devastating the area. Authorities later confirmed Curry’s remains. Kelley described the scene as “hell” and expressed heartbreak over the loss. Rest in peace to all the victims of these devastating fires.
